Restoration process

Discover the process of restoring pre-owned machinery

Tailored reconditioning of aerial platforms and forklifts

At Manain, we offer a top quality finish in the restoration of aerial work platforms thanks to the combination of two elements: dedicated facilities and a highly experienced team.

This process complies with all safety measures using modern and sustainable techniques. During the process, the equipment is sandblasted, sanded, rehabilitated and painted.  We take care of all the details to offer the highest quality.

A second chance with a first-class finish

Restoration of pre-owned machinery with a premium finish

We have a sheet metal and paint team specialised in all stages of the machinery restoration process. Applying the newest and most innovative techniques to offer a finish similar to that of a machine just out of the factory.

Technical review and operation testing

Checking by mechanics to verify its operation. If the client wishes, parts such as the joystick, wheels or seats are replaced to achieve a higher quality finish.

Rust removal

Shot blasting to clean the surface of rust and paint residue, leaving the sheet metal bare. Rehabilitation if there is a blow or damage to the sheet metal.

Sanding and polishing

Using putty to remove imperfections and sanding to remove excess material.

Priming

Application of painting techniques to ensure the quality of the finish.

Painting

Second coat of paint to ensure a uniform finish.

Vinyl and safety labels

Placement of the standard and safety labels on the machinery.

Facilities dedicated to extending the
life of pre-owned machinery

Qualified team

We have qualified and certified mechanics with specific courses in electronics and maintenance of aerial work platforms, forklifts and other types of construction machinery. We have the support of leading manufacturers to train our team in the latest developments on the market.

XXL painting booths

Exclusive facilities for the restoration of machinery equipped with filters. A space with 4 XXL booths to recondition machines of up to 43 metres. Booths equipped with high-power air filtering systems to reduce CO2 pollution. This filter system quickly absorbs the paint, preventing it from remaining in suspension and contaminating other elements in the booth.

Blasting booths

The blasting booth has a Pickup & Re-use recycling system.

A circuit where the paint is separated from the blasting material, allowing it to be used in subsequent cycles.
